While on Message Academy you’ll have many opportunities to proclaim and demonstrate the gospel throughout the year. By receiving teaching from excellent tutors from within The Message Trust SA and our partner organisations, you’ll be trained and resourced to go into different environments to share the good news of Jesus. Using what you’ve learnt you’ll take the gospel to youth groups, schools, prisons and communities across Cape Town and beyond.

Throughout the year we have practical biblical teaching on various themes from the Bible, self esteem, evangelism, social action and the kingdom of God.Our aim is to equip you with knowledge of the scriptures and to empower you to be all you can in God through the promises in His word.

The local church is one of The Message Trust’s core values. We believe that working alongside the local church is a key part of the work we do. If you are a part of a local church you are encouraged to attend and serve there alongside The Message Academy. If you are not a part of a local church, The Message Academy team will connect you with one of our partner churches in order to serve.

PLACEMENTS
You will spend time on placement as part of the course both internally at The Message Trust and externally with our partners and friends of The Message Trust. Here you can practice what you are learning, build your gifting and make a difference in people’s lives as well as preparing you for mission for later on in the course.

Alongside creative tuition in various creative skills we will look at topics such as ‘Your body speaks’, ‘Mission etiquette’ and ‘Knowing your equipment’. We will provide you with everything you need to deliver mission with excellence and efficiency!
